Makeup Revolution and I ♡ Makeup haul! Too faced Sweethearts dupe!?

I think everyone is familiar with Makeup Revolution brand by now. They have appeared out of nowhere and taken the market by storm, producing some amazing products!

And they have done it again! Bringing out lots of new products and introducing us to a totally new sister brand called  I ♡ Makeup!

I got a selection of things from both. Below you can see Girls on film eyeshadow palette.

The shadows are nicely pigmented, you get 12 shimmery shades and 6 matte ones. They are not powdery and really smooth to apply. They also blend well so all in all A+ from me!

This is Dia de los muertos palette, which has some really wearable colours but also a selection of more vibrant ones for more adventurous looks!

My favourite has to be the matte purple and the bottom row of shimmery shades! What fantastic selection.

Now onto completely new brand  I ♡ Makeup! The selection of products they offer is more limited than Makeup revolution. They mainly have eyeshadow palettes, lip products and blushers/ bronzers range.

I was really tempted by the Blushing Hearts range. It reminds me so much of the Too Faced Sweethearts so much! I don't own the Too Faced blusher but comparing pictures of both products it looks like a good dupe possibility!

Here is the full range of the heart shaped face products. It consists of 3 blushers, 2 bronzers and 1 highlighter.

From the left Goddess of love highlighter, Summer of love & Love hot summer bronzers.

From the left: Candy queen of hears, Blushing heart & Peachy keen heart.

My favourite one has to be Candy queen of hearts (far left) as it gives you a perfect amount of colour and glow without it being too sparkly. The other two have some silver sparkle in them, so if you are not a fan I would keep that in mind.

Next are the Lip Geek lipsticks. I love the packaging of these. They remind me of a Mac lipstick bullet style packaging but in a vibrant pink metallic colour! It also feels sturdier than the Makeup Revolution lipsticks, where the tops come off so easily!!

The formula of this lipsticks is creamy and moisturising, they really feel nice when applied on the lips. The colours I have picked are nicely pigmented. The longevity of Lip geek lipsticks is not bad, however like every moisturising lip product it won't stay on your lips for ever!

And last but not least is my favourite lip product from the whole range! Wow lip glosses are cute and little, perfect to slip into a pocket or a clutch bag. They have a good colour selection, however some colours are very similar to each other so maybe more of a variety would be nice. Pigmentation is great in most colours. I have to say that the formula of these is fantastic, they are not sticky at all but somehow cling on to your lip and stay put for a good amount of time for a lipgloss!

All in all I am impressed with new products that they have brought out. My favourite two must be the heart blushers and wow lip glosses. But it is worth popping on their website and checking more products out as they are so cheap!

I also have a haul video on my channel so please go and check that out to see products in action:)

PS. All the products have been bought with my own money and the opinions are my own and honest.

Sephora US beauty and makeup haul! First impressions and experiences.

So the time has come to finally click on the order button on Sephora website! I have been gathering, adding and removing things from my basket for ages, and somehow I just took a plunge:)
Haha it sounds like such a life changing decision, which it's not but I just hesitated, that's it!

So anyways, after finally placing my order and getting confirmation email, I awaited my delivery. I have to say that it came within few days from the day I ordered, which I was really surprised about!

Ok, enough of my rumbles lets just see what I got in the box:))

So here is a little overview of everything that came in the package:D

Firstly I decided to invest in some skincare products and as I run out of my night cream I got the Korres wild rose and vitamin C brightening sleeping facial. I suffer from hyper pigmentation ( especially in pregnancy) so thought this cream would be a great idea. I also checked the reviews before buying it and most of them were great! All I can say is that after using the cream for about 2 weeks now not only the smell is gorgeous but I certainly see a difference in my skin!

Then I got a set of deluxe samples from the Sephora Skin Bender vol 1. I couldn't decide on just one full size product and thought this set came with lots of lovely products that were on my ''to try'' list for a while.
I am really excited  by getting another Korres overnight product and Josie Maran argan oil!

Next on my list were Bite beauty products! They certainly have created quite a stir in the beauty world! I love the fact that these are so dinky and a perfect size to try a product/ colours out. I got two lipstick duo in vivid and neutral. I absolutely love the texture and pigmentation on these! plus they are so perfect to throw into your handbag as they don't take much room and you get two colours in case you change your mind half way through the day:)

I also got these two Luster Matte Long-Wear Lip Colours by Sephora. As always I went with a more nude colour and the one that pops a little:) They are absolutely gorgeous and the staying power is amazing!

As if I haven't had enough lip products I simply had to get the new Lip Stain by Sephora in Fuchsia Concentrate. I haven't had a chance to play around with it too much but I adore the packaging which is a very thin and sleek test tube like case.

Last but not least of course is a ''spare of the moment'' purchase! A set of Bite beauty Deconstructed Rose lipgloss set. I bought it as I also wanted to try some lip glosses from Bite but also all the colours in the palette are ones that I would buy a full size of! All the colours are so wearable and pigmented and they also smell of roses which is gorgeous!
Even my husband complemented me on how nice my lips were every time I wear one of them. The size is very convenient as well as they are small. The only downside in my opinion is the fact that instead of names they have numbers, for whatever reason I prefer funky names, but hey you can't have everything;)

All in all I know the haul was pretty lip product heavy, but I am obsessed with lip stuff at the moment! I love the fact that it can transform your look so easily and you can change it according to your mood!

Hope you enjoyed it, please don't forget to watch my YT video as well:))

Zoeva brushes first impressions and review! Rose gold set and more!

Hi guys, so here I am again...still ''flat packed'' (read I haven't had my baby yet!) and I decided to share with you my thoughts on Zoeva company and the brushes they make.

I recently placed an order for the rose gold set (which is absolutely gorgeous!!!) and a couple of single brushes.

And here are these little beauties!

This is the Rose Gold set that consists of 8 brushes (5 for the face and 3 for the eyes). It also comes with a gorgeous faux leather pouch with inside zipped pocket and a dust bag!

The brushes are fantastic quality, they feel super soft. I love the handles as they feel nice and sturdy.

I used all of them already and I can honestly say I am in love!
I use powder brush on daily basis and it's a perfect size and density to pick up enough product yet not make you look cakey.
My second favourite brush is the foundation brush. It blends the foundation perfectly, doesn't leave any streaks and is perfect for everyday use.
The angled blush brush is another fantastic brush, soft enough with long bristles to pick up enough product but also blend it out perfectly! I have to say I love this brush more than my Real Techniques one.
The contour brush and concealer brush the set comes with I haven't used very much as I feel they are much too dense for my liking for their purpose. I really like more control over my brushes when it comes to contouring and concealer.

The three eye brushes the set comes with are fantastic! Soft definer brush and petit crease I use on daily basis to do my everyday eye make up and the wing liner brush I use mainly for my eyebrows with Anastasia's deep brow pomade and it works a treat!

These are the brushes I purchased mainly to compare to the Rose Gold set and see how the quality compares. I got a crease brush no 228 and face paint brush no 109. And yet again they are super soft and feel really nicely built.

The face paint brush is my new favourite contour brush. It reminds me of the Nars Ita brush (even though I haven't had a chance to try this one out)  but the built of it is quite similar in my opinion. I love how my Zoeva brush picks up just enough product and once you apply it to the hollows of your cheeks you might think you put too much on, but because the bristles are slightly longer and so soft it blends out all the product to a perfect finish! My contouring has been so much easier because of this brush! I can't rave about it enough, I absolutely love it!

The crease brush is great as well, it's something in between the ones you get in the rose gold set.

I already washed all of them once and I have to say they wash very well, dry very quickly and don't change their shape after being washed. All in all I am super happy with my purchase. I think the quality is there, the practicality of brushes you get in the set is great and the price comparing to other brush companies is unbeatable! The company is German but from what I know they ship worldwide and I paid flat fee of £7.50 for postage which I don't think is too much. Obviously it works out better if you place a bigger order. The brushes were packed in a box, nicely wrapped in a tissue paper and lots and lots of bubble wrap so they were safe and snug in there:)

Huge US, UK and Polish makeup and beauty haul! Lip product overload!

Ok, so I have been shopping again! I think this is my way of coping with a thought of having to go through labour soon! Nice distraction technique I've got there;))

I picked up a few things from Superdrug and Boots but also have been shopping online on Beauty.com ( which I am totally obsessed about!) and was lucky enough my brother was going to Poland so I could give him a little ''want'' list;) I think he got the message when I said he doesn't want to upset a pregnant lady, hihi.

Ok... so lets see what I got this time round:D

Those are all the products I got when I went shopping.

I am so impressed with Makeup Revolution London products that I decided to pick one more palette up and this one is completely matte. The pigmentation for matte eyeshadows that cost £4 is very good, however the light shadows look quite similar while swatched. I love the colours of the last 5 shadows and these are what mainly tempted me to get the palette.

Here are the swatches of the two lipsticks I got from Rimmel and on the left you can see a swatch of a blush by Smooch Cosmetics (got this one on ebay). The reason why I got this is because the packaging looked so much like the Nars one I just wanted to compare and see what the brand is all about. From my research so far I gather that the brand is no longer available online in their shop, which is a shame because not only the prices were very reasonable, the quality of this blush is great and the packaging looks great and expensive for what it is!

Now for my order from Beauty.com here are a few little things I picked up. I also ordered a Tarte foundation but it is still on a back order and I am not too sure when I will be getting my hands on this!
But to the point, they had a family and friends event going on which meant everything on the website was 20% off! What a bargain I thought and picked up a few things I had on my wish list for a while.

So I managed to snap up Origins Drink Up Overnight Mask, which I haven't tried yet but the smell is insane! I am very much into my overnight masks and facials lately, maybe hoping it will help me in some way;)

Then I got full size of Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion in Sin, which I had a sample of and absolutely loved it! It's fantastic even if you want to wear it on its own.

Two Two Faced Melted lipsticks in Fuchsia and Peony and two L'Oreal Infalliable eyeshadows in Iced Latte and Amber Rush. These latter ones are available in the UK but the colours are not, and since everyone is talking about how gorgeous the colours are I had to purchase them!

From the left: UD eyeshadow primer in Sin, L'Oreal Inffalliable in Iced Latte and Amber Rush.

Too Faced Melted Peony and Melted Fuchsia.

Ok... and now for the Polish shopping:) Thanks to my brother I was able to get things much cheaper in my home country than I would in the UK!

I asked him to get me my favourite spot brush cleanser from Inglot and a nail treatment that I heard a lot of good reviews about. My nails (touch wood) have been good recently but I think this is due to pregnancy rather than the things I put on them. He got me 3 gel eyeliners in white, black and shimmery taupe and 5 matte lipsticks from their new collection for freedom system!

Here are the lipsticks swatched. I love the colours, they are nicely pigmented, very matte and you can mix and match them in the palette so perfect for when you are travelling! The top row in a palette is my lipsticks from a previous visit in Poland but they are normal creamy ones.

I also got two long lasting matte lipglosses by a company called Lovely, which is a Polish equivalent for MUA here so cheap as chips!

This is what they looked like swatched. I really like the colours and the way they feel on my lips. And also here is the lipliner from Golden Rose which I wanted to try (its nicely pigmented but quite hard) and a freebie green eyeliner. It's nicely pigmented as well, not the softest I have in my collection, but a colour I haven't got so might be using it in the future for a little pop of colour:)

And last but not least my current obsession with lips is truly pictured here! I just couldn't resist asking him to pick up a few Golden Rose Velvet Matte lipsticks for me!

I read so many great reviews about these on polish blogs and couldn't wait to get an opportunity to get these! I have to say that they certainly don't disappoint.

The pigmentation is fantastic, just one swipe gives you an opaque look on the lips. They have a lovely matte finish but not drying, they feel very comfortable on the lips unlike some matte lip products out there. A huge plus must be the variety of colours they have. The range varies from light nudes through dark ones, pinks, darker pinks and reds. I haven't picked all of them up (just the ones I thought I would wear) and my goodness was I right? I love them! A bonus is the fact they only retail for around £2.5 so you're getting a fantastic product for a bargain price!

I hope you enjoyed my lip product heavy haul:D Probably my last one before our baby comes!
Don't forget to also check my YT video out and give it a thumbs up:))

Gold and turquoise eye makeup tutorial inspired by Dior Resort 2014 look!

Hello peeps:)) In todays post and my new video on You Tube I will be showing you how to achieve this gold and turquoise eye makeup look. I was inspired by Dior resort 2014 make up, and even though their look was much more daring I just loved the combination of colours!

Even though my look is not as ''gold'' and crazy I still really enjoyed wearing it and got lots of complements about it!

Here is the list of products I used to achieve this look:

- NYX HD eyeshadow primer
- Makeup Geek eyeshadow in Bling as a slight highlight on the brownbown
- KIKO eyeshadow in 237 to soften the crease
- Makeup Revolution Awesome Metals Eye Foils in Rose gold all over the lid
- Barry M Duzzle Dust in 19 in the outer v and middle of the lid
- Inglot turquoise eyeshadow mixed with Inglot Duraline to create an eyeliner
- Maybelline Colossal Volume mascara in black

I hope you like the look I have created:))

Hong Kong and UK drugstore skincare and makeup haul & reviews!

I was super excited by the prospect of my husband having to go to Hong Kong for a business trip. We both missed him terribly, but I knew he would be able to pick up a few beauty bargains for me while away:)) I mainly wanted to focus on skincare as I know Asian brands are famous for it, plus not being there myself I just didn't know what other brands and colours are available.

So here is what my hubby got for me :)!

I was very excited to receive three boxes of My Beauty Diary face masks! They are sheet masks, 10 in each pack and I have them in aloe, black pearl and strawberry yoghurt. These were 58 HK$ in Sasa which is a real bargain!

Then I got Etude House wonder pore white clay clear mask as I heard so many good reviews about it, but haven't had a chance to try it out properly yet. I am not sure about the price of this one as some things didn't have price labels on them.

My heart was definitely stolen by the next mask my husband got for me. It's the Borghese Fango Active Mud Mask for face and body. It is available in the UK on Cult Beauty website but from what I've seen it's much cheaper over there as it cost 390 HK$ which is just above £30. I have used it a few times already and I can't get enough of it! Not only my skin feels hydrated and supple, but it looks clear and bright and feels deeply cleansed! I also love the smell which is slightly herby.

Then I caved in and asked my husband to pick up Shu Uemura eyelash curler, as it was much cheaper over there as well! He paid 98 HK$ which is just over £10 comparing to £20 in the UK. I have used it and I have to admit so far so good. It is much better than the previous eyelash curlers I had from my Glossybox.

Last but not least was a product by Etude House Lovely Cookie blusher in Peach Parfait.
I have to say when I was looking for things online it was mainly the packaging that has tempted me to put this one on my wanted list. I've noticed EH has one of the most beautiful and cute packaging! I already own a couple of their lipsticks and another blusher and I am in love!
The colour is gorgeous, perfect for those spring/ summer months. The colour payoff is not as intense as Sleek by any means but it's enough to give you a healthy peachy cheek:)

Then of course I couldn't say no to a quick trip to my local Boots and Superdrug to get my ''beauty fix'' and here is what I got!

They had an offer on all Revlon cosmetics, bogof so I decided to treat myself to another foundation in colour Shell as I haven't tried so many of them from this brand and two new nail polishes that are scented one in Ginger Melon and African Tea Rose. Of course the colours are very predictable and very me. And don't get me wrong, I've got plenty of nail polishes in these colours, but it's a weakness of mine, I am just a nail polish hoarder!

I also got a new mascara (again I don't need one!!) but it was brand new and had argan oil in it and this just sucked me in to buying it!

I needed a new powder brush as I really didn't have a proper big one like this and decided to go for Real Techniques one! I absolutely love it.

Of course a drugstore trip wouldn't be complete without popping in to Superdrug where I picked up a few interesting bits:))

First of all are Barry M nail polishes that have been recently released. I absolutely fell in love with the pastely springy colours! They also ventured into Gelly lip products which I just had to pick up and try out! I will keep you posted on these.

Then lucky enough Look Beauty was marked half price as I think they are no longer going to stock this brand. So I picked up some double hit lip products in Red Alert, Pink Punch and Berry Blast (from left to right). These are very interesting, not at all bulky but you get a lipstick and a corresponding lip gloss which I think is a nice idea. I also picked up a single lipstick in Petal Nude. It is very moisturising and soft on the lips, doesn't stay on awfully long but it doesn't claim to anyways. I really like the colour of it as well, the sticker at the bottom does definitely not give you the proper indication of colour. I think the packaging is a little bit too bulky and the magnetic closing is a little bit flimsy, so watch out for an open lipstick if you just throw it into your bag!
There is also a gorgeous rose goldy pink glitter nail polish hiding in the back, which looks absolutely stunning on the nail and stays put for a really decent amount of time so will be going back for some more of these to try out:)

The bottom swatch is of an exciting new product by 2true and it's their 8hr Power Lip lipglossy lipsticky thing in colour Natalie. They have about 5 or 6 shades and they are all super pigmented, in a form of a lipgloss but reminding me a lot of liquid lipsticks that are so popular with other brands now! I've got some of the new Milani lip intense lipglosses and they remind me of these as well, but haven't had a chance to compare.
Haven't tested it out yet but will be keeping you posted!

Next was a cheeky order from Topshop. A cream blush (not very typical for me) but I was tempted with the gorgeous colour and the fact it's cream so definitely looks more natural in the spring / summer. The blush is in colour Afternoon Tea. I also picked up two lip paints in reminisce and hibiscus. Just can't get enough of my lip products at the moment! I was tempted by Topshop nail varnishes as they look so juicy and beautiful + the packaging is cute, but just got the one in green to try the formula out. I've never had any of these in my collection!

Last but not least was a trip to a Mac counter and I just got two things. Single eyeshadow in expensive pink and a lipstick retro matte finish in flat out. I am in love with these two colours! And the lipstick stays on for EVER!!

You probably wonder now... what the hell is this?! But I have placed a cheeky order online from the US! I love Wet n Wild products as they are super affordable but of really good quality! I am also a huge Milani fan (such a shame this brand is not available in the UK:(  ) So I just couldn't resist buying two limited edition palettes by WnW in colours Walking the red carpet and Flirting at the after party. The names are AMAZING, shame I can't say the same about the pigmentation of the shadows, especially the top two. They are so light they are barely visible and comparing these palettes to the other ones I have from this brand the formula of the shadows is definitely not the same!

And lastly the most gorgeous blusher I've seen in a while Milani powder rose blush in Coral Cove. I love the embossing on it, it's a shame to touch it but I will definitely be dipping my brushes into it as I hate not using make up. Even the prettiest things have been made to be used and to be enjoyed. I read so many people buy makeup and collect it for its embossing, limited edition products etc and each to their own but my heart bleeds ( I know! How dramatic:)) when things just don't get used:/

Anyways the swatch of the blushed is above the WnW palettes!

Hope you enjoyed seeing my collective haul! Don't forget to check out my YT video as well and follow me through bloglovin:))
